We are a small yet dedicated breeder of White Swiss Shepherds situated in the foothills of Perth, Western Australia. We are a stone's throw from John Forrest National Park and just minutes from the beautiful Swan River where we frequently take our dogs for a swim and a run along the river banks.
Although we had heard of and researched the White Swiss Shepherd Dog breed years earlier our first direct involvement was in 2006 when we welcomed our first beautiful White Swiss Shepherd female " Alaska " into our home and into our hearts. It was after learning about the plight of these magnificent creatures and the dedication and passion of breeders to ensure their existence and ultimately gain acceptance that we decided to breed. For us it is not just about breeding but about breeding the best White Swiss Shepherds that we possibly can.
Our dogs have been carefully selected from all around Australia, having some of the finest Australian bloodlines combined with the bloodlines of some of the world's greatest Champions through natural and artificial matings. We aim to produce healthy dogs of true beauty with correct structure, white coats and dark eyes and pigmentation. We also aim at dogs that can be used for any discipline like obedience, sport or working yet are also good in a family situation especially with children. Although our dogs are used for breeding they are first and foremost very much loved family members.
We have recently undertaken the next major step as a responsible breeder and imported frozen semen from an FCI registered Champion White Swiss Shepherd stud dog " Born to Win White Angel " from Europe. We are very excited about the new and quality bloodlines that we can add to the very limited Australian gene pool that exists at the moment. In the time that we have been involved with this breed we have seen great progress with the quality of dogs that are being produced in Australia and along with some other major plans we have in development here at Rosehill we are very excited about what the future holds for this magnificent breed!
